Bill Engelbrecht’s Orchard and Farm Market has been a family owned business since 1919. John W. Engelbrecht, founder of Engelbrecht Orchards was the beginning of five generations to date! What started as growing and selling our famous apples and sweet peaches out of a small covered porch has blossomed into growing and selling our famous apples, juicy peaches, sweet like candy corn, nectarines, cherries, and Indiana’s best apple cider out of our new 12,000 square foot store.

Engelbrecht’s features a variety of Indiana’s own jellies and jams, honey, chocolates and hard candies, pancake mixes, syrups, spices, dips and dressings! We offer a full line of fresh farmer’s produce and dairy products including Graham Farms cheeses and sausages. Every day you’ll find fresh baked items in our bakery. We specialize in fruit pies that have become rather famous around the holidays and just about any other day, too! Our newest venture is a unique selection of Fine wines, Indiana wines, craft beers, imported and micro brewed beers.

For 15 years Bill Engelbrecht’s Orchard and Farm Market has offered a variety of bedding plants. Today we offer over 2 acres of a full line of garden center items. Trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, herbs, tropicals, specialty plants, rose bushes, vegetable and fruit plants, seeds and starts, soil amendments, and fertilizers to name a few.

Attached to our building is the town’s full line butcher shop! Pearson’s Rivertown Butcher Shop to be exact! With meats, fresh veggies and fruits, bread, wine, and dessert, we make it too convenient to stop on in and grab all the fixings you’ll need to bring “Homegrown Goodness” to the dinner table.
